Data scientist for ATTMO (Internship, Remote)

After founding OANDA, Richard Olsen went on to create Lykke in 2015 with the goal of staying at the forefront of emerging technologies that could be applied to financial markets. Lykke has various operations, including running a cryptocurrency exchange, providing software as a service products, and serving as a market-maker / liquidity provider on numerous trading platforms.

The Role: data scientist for ATTMO, the weather-inspired crypto AI forecasting tool in collaboration with the quantitative analysis team responsible for the market-making activities.

Your role is to evaluate the performance of the existing indicators, expand the number of instruments covered, design and implement analytical tools to enhance the indicators and draw insights from historical and real-time market data.

Tasks

Your main tasks involve collecting insights through statistical analysis of large and diverse datasets, creating scripts for automated data extraction and visualization, and performing custom data analysis for research projects.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role should have a background in computer science, mathematics, or statistics, be familiar with the data science ecosystem in Python or R, possess knowledge of Linux – and be comfortable working in the terminal environment.
