  • Draft, review and interpret legal documentation, analyze legal issues and make recommendations on action to be taken in substantial legal matters.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contractual terms in connection with transactions in different jurisdictions and advise commercial teams of the degree of legal risk associated with such transactions.
  • Review interpret and apply industry regulations and court rulings and conduct legal research in relation to different jurisdictions.
  • Provide counsel and guidance on legal implications of operational and transactional matters to management, different company departments, subsidiaries and affiliates.
  • Manage assigned or delegated special projects and tasks to completion in an efficient, economical manner in accordance with company’s goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with other legal functions in the company, especially compliance, data protection and competition to ensure that their interests are taken into account in corporate development and commercial projects.
  • Coordinate use of outside law firms and other advisers of the company and review their work and control their costs.
  • Prepared to travel worldwide from time to time.


The Successful Applicant

  • University degree in law or equivalent nationally approved qualification.
  • At least 5 years’ experience post qualification in a top tier law firm and/or a multinational company (preferably in the technology or logistic industry). Admission to the bar (past or present) is considered a plus.
  • Substantial practical experience in contract, commercial and intellectual property law, with experience on legal work related to matters such as data commercialization, use and adoption of technologies such as blockchain and cloud technologies, technology procurement, digital and business transformation, outsourcing, and licensing.
  • Good understanding of regulatory environment related to information technology, including cybersecurity and data localisation.
  • Ability to distinguish and analyze relevant facts and make sound and reasoned legal conclusions.
  • Ability to proactively assists internal clients, coordinate input from other subjects matter experts and to work independently while keeping other informed.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, to respect deadlines and to assume responsibilities.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Readiness to handle a mixture of contract, commercial, intellectual property and regulatory work in logistic environments.
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills in English (any other major European language is a plus).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
