The team ❤️

This is a new role/team being created, to facilitate the next stage of our growth. We are currently migrating from generalist roles to specialists, hence the creation of this new team. You will play a key role in building out the 1st line Customer Onboarding Team which will service our global customer base, and include building out and hiring team members.

When building out the function, you will have the assistance of our Head of Financial Crime and our Compliance Director.

The Customer Onboarding Team is responsible for the successful onboarding of our business partners and consumers.The manager will be responsible for the smooth, effective and efficient management of the onboarding journey.

In accordance with regulatory expectations, the team’s performance will be governed by service level agreements and key performance Indicators.


What you’ll do as a Manager

  • Build and set up of this function ensuring the team are operating within the service level agreements and meeting the standards set for the key performance indicators
  • Ensuring the team are sufficiently trained to carry out their duties
  • Provide monthly reporting packs
  • Liaise closely Head of Financial Crime and regional MLROs to evolve the function in line with regulatory requirements and industry trends.
  • Ensure that procedures and process maps are up to date

You should apply if ✅

  • Corporate & consumer onboarding experience in either FinTech
  • Minimum of 2 years of Supervisory / Team Leader experience
  • Regulatory understanding of working in an outsourced function
  • ACAMS / ACFCS or ICA accreditation
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Ability to build rules, based on typologies and customer behavior
  • Ability to build a team/ function from scratch
  • Solution orientated
  • Interest in Crypto
  • Ability to demonstrate a practical approach to AML
  • Able to demonstrate alignment to MoonPay values
  • Comfort and belief to challenge the status quo
