The opportunity:

Uphold is looking for a Crypto Channel Director to join our Product team. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity where you’ll get to The Channel Manager wins, maintains, and expands relationships with assigned channel partners. Assigned to channel partners based on geography, channel, or market, the Channel Manager is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives. The Channel Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned partners though may focus on a specific solution or product set if focused in a partner vertical market. {insert job summary here}.


What you’ll be doing primarily:

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
  • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
  • Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address end user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
  • Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.
  • Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners.

Required qualifications:

  • University graduate.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a business leadership position with customer and revenue growth ownership.
  • B2C P&L Ownership in a digital startup (gambling, crypto exchange, forex, online banking, payments).
  • Revenue ownership at $30-$500m range.
  • High volume / global customer acquisition experience using digital and affiliate marketing.
  • CRM experience in an online B2C business.
  • Good understanding of digital currencies.
  • GTM definition and execution process.
  • Direct experience of defining reward based marketing campaigns.
  • Experience utilising advertising / creative agencies.
  • Demonstrated ownership of rapid customer, revenue and margin growth.
  • Very analytical person with high intellect.
  • Results focused. Will always deliver the agreed outcomes.
  • Commercially aware with great interest in understanding the competitive landscape.
  • NOT a corp exec without hands on experience of delivering revenue.
  • Fluent written and oral English skills.

Bonus if you have:

  • MBA preferable
  • Fluency in cryptocurrencies or other digital assets as they are core to our business.
  • Community talks, certifications, and/or blog posts on your interests and research.
  • Open source project contributions of any kind, such as tools developed to solve specific problems you’ve had or fixing issues on existing projects.
