Compliance Officer – job description
We are seeking a Compliance Officer with a strong background in cross-functional compliance management to join a group of like-minded achievers. In your role, you will focus on leading the crypto compliance function covering all Tesseract crypto-related products and services, and act as the senior domain expert for crypto regulation.
The design and oversight of the crypto regulatory risk & compliance monitoring program
Leading the mapping of all Tesseract cryptocurrency products and services against the evolving global regulatory landscape
Leading new crypto licensing and registration projects (globally)
Advising on complex regulatory issues
Advising on new and emerging regulatory developments e.g., MiCA
Developing and maintaining positive and transparent relationships with Regulators and Authorities (inc. the FIN-FSA, Finnish Customs, EU Commission etc.)
Overseeing the drafting and ongoing maintenance of robust policies and procedures
Managing the submission of ad hoc & routine regulatory reporting, including formal notifications (where required)
Reviewing and approving financial promotions / marketing campaigns
Supporting product development, including advising on the use of licenses & registrations to develop product and services
Giving general compliance opinions/support
Being a designated regulatory approved individual (in multiple jurisdictions if required)
Educated to degree level (LL.M. or equivalent)
Have a proven track record of working in financial services
