We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our growing global team building out a new SaaS offering for IBM Cloud Pak for Security. IBM Security require a Product Owner to join a new team helping to develop and support next generation solutions for the IBM Security Cloud Pak for Security as a Service product suite. This is your chance to help develop innovative technology products, as well as advance your career. You will be part of a wider international IBM Security team, a group of passionate people working on powerful cybersecurity applications & solutions.
As Product Owner you will be responsible for coordinating our efforts with Product Management, Engineering Management and Product Support, to ensure the team’s backlog is continually refined & prioritised, and Providing the team technical direction.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- University Degree in Computing or a related field
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Several years of Java software development experience
- A few years in a team management role
- Experience as a Product Owner
- SQL database experience, preferably Postgres
- Ability to learn new technologies and processes and quickly apply them to the overall development effort.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and communication skills – written, verbal, presentation.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- You have experience with continuous delivery and automated testing, preferably in multi-cloud deployments.
- A good understanding of OpenShift, Kubernetes or similar container orchestration technologies.
- Demonstrable experience with application software and solution scalability, security, monitoring and performance.
- Agile experience working with Scrum or Kanban in co-located teams as part of a global team.
- Strong Linux experience.
- Experience of threat modeling applications
