Your mission

The platform team in Bitpanda Pro is responsible for designing, maintaining and securing the cloud infrastructure, deploy pipelines and integrated systems that product teams rely on to deliver. If you are passionate about highly automated and reliable infrastructure then this is a role for you. You will work closely with other teams to ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our systems.

• AWS managed services (ECS, RDS Aurora, MSK, DynamoDB, Eventbridge)
• Cloudflare
• Terraform
• Python (glue code)
• Gitlab

What you’ll do

• Design, implement, and maintain our cloud-based infrastructure
• Model infrastructure in code using Terraform
• Ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our systems
• Take part in on-call rotations and respond to system alerts during shifts
• Collaborate with development teams to automate the deployment of applications
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities
• Write scripts and glue code in python to automate tasks
• Research and evaluate new technologies to enhance the capabilities of our infrastructure
• Document architecture, processes and procedures

Who are you

• 2+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field is a plus
• Strong experience with AWS fundamentals (networking, IAM) and at least one of ECS, RDS Aurora, MSK, Dynamodb and/or Eventbridge
• Experience in managing a multi-account organization in AWS is a plus
• Experience with running containerized Java applications is a plus
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Proficiency in Python for scripting
• Experience with Gitlab
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for investing and cryptocurrencies is a plus
