Client Technical Specialists (CTP) are the technical experts and advisors to clients, IBM sales teams and/or IBM Business Partners. As a CTP you understand the client’s business requirements, technical requirements and/or competitive landscape. You apply your business insights, build and maintain client relationships, incorporate hardware, software and services into client-valued solutions and ensure client readiness for the implementation of technical solutions. Your Role and Responsibilities

You will be CTP in the Business Automation (BA) cloud software sales unit within IBM Technology. The IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation contains leading cloud-native software for Enterprise Content Management, Document Capturing, Decision Management and Rules, Workflow and Business Process Management as well as Process Mining and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). You build MVP’s and software demos for clients by applying modern agile garage methods using the IBM Technology Cloud Paks and its components.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 3 years of technical and consulting skills around Business Automation Software (at least two of the segments Enterprise Content Management, Capturing, Workflow and Process (BPM) Software, Robotic Process Automation).
  • At least 2 years of building and showcasing software capabilities in quick demos, MVP’s (Minimal Viable Products) and deeper technical client-specific implementations in POCs and initial service projects.
  • At least 2 years of practical experience of agile garage methods as business design thinking, scrum or others.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience and application of the concepts and practical experience in cloud-native (container-based) software development and operations would be of great advantage.
