Your Role and Responsibilities
Fueled by cloud and cognitive technologies, more than 150 SaaS offerings, and real-time insights, the Global Markets team delivers embedded expertise to help our clients make better decisions and deliver innovation as they engage with their customers, partners and suppliers.
In your day to day job, and reporting directly to the IBM Tech Director, you will own and be accountable of the technical relationship with the CXO level of one of the Spanish biggest client accounts. You will act as a pre-sales trusted technical advisor for the client, helping them create mid and long term strategies and build the solutions that best fit their business needs. We truly believe in a hybrid world, so the solutions that you will build for the client will be a mix of IBM technology, IBM services and third parties solutions. Inside IBM, you will work in a team of multi-disciplinary architects, coordinating the HW, SW, Services and Ecosystem technical teams and partnering with the sales representative, with visibility at General Manager level to whom you will need to report frequently. Your role will be in close contact with the latest cutting edge technologies and innovations, as well as “what’s next in technology” points of view from IBM Research, that you will share with our clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Sales skills, entrepreneurship mindset and ability to create trusted advisor relationships and work autonomously in complex situations.
Ability to adapt to changing environments.
Deep knowledge of cloud, AI, and other exponential technologies solutions, as well as the market state of the art.
Wide architectural and integration capabilities to build E2E solutions
Good knowledge of IBM portfolio
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
5+ years working in a similar position with demonstrated experience of CxO technical relationship management and a good track record of technical sales success
Master degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent.
Banking industry knowledge and previous experience with bank clients will be appreciated
