Your Role and Responsibilities

As a member of the Enterprise Change and Transformation Practice, your role will be fundamental to helping our clients successfully design and enable their most complex business transformations. Your role in EC&T will be broad and exciting; from supporting the shaping of an initial client opportunity through to working closely with our clients to enable lasting, inspiring and value creating business change. With IBM you will have the opportunity to work for some of the world’s most interesting and innovative companies and organizations on their national or global transformation programmes.You will focus on the people side of transformation and use your knowledge and experience to identify and understand the employee experience through the lens of business process, technology and organisation structures.You will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and proven experience in delivering ERP and Cloud transformations, organisation design/ Operating model changes, together with project management and team leadership skills. As a business change manager you will build strong connects with our clients’ leadership and employees, understanding how their business works, their aspirations for the future and connect that together to make visions a reality and build deep employee loyalty and commitment.Working in EC&T is a very exciting career choice no two projects are the same, and you have the chance to work across multiple industries and make an impact on real-world problems.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Ability to be a part of complex global change management engagements within the ERP implementation, process transformation, cloud journey and Operating Model change context
  • Align Case for Change and Change Management strategy to overall organisational/project goals
  • Apply Organisation Change Management (OCM) framework, methodology and tools to create a change strategy to support adoption of the changes
  • Develop a Change Management Plan to drive faster adoption and higher utilisation of process/system changes
  • Work with Project Leads to ensure that change management activities are incorporated into the overall project plan
  • Support the design, development, delivery and management of all engagement activities, including communications
  • Demonstrate experience in using multiple digital communication channels to engage stakeholders and impacted users across geographies
  • Apply design thinking principles to create user centric design and enhance user experience
  • Work with key stakeholders to establish and maintain the commitment necessary to address workforce transition challenges that might arise
  • Apply data analytics to create dashboard and derive actionable insights to drive change efforts and adoption
  • Expertise in Stakeholder Engagement, Change Impact Assessment, Communication Planning and Execution, Change Measurement (Change Readiness/ Surveys, Business Readiness) etc.
  • Several years of experience in leading, devising, implementing and evaluating complex organisational change programmes is desired.
  • Additional experience in Benefits Realisation, Organization Design/ Culture and Change Diagnostics / Analytics areas would be beneficial.
  • Proficient in change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Demonstrate structured thinking to problem solving
  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence others
  • Ability to collaborate and work with geographically spread multi-cultural / diverse teams
  • Demonstrate capability to perform tasks independently with thought leadership
  • Identify project needs and develop a detailed timeline for completion

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Knowledge of Design Thinking Principles, Change Management models
  • You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
  • Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
  • Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
  • Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
