Would you like to work with international clients and be part of a dynamic team? Be involved in IT transformation projects, work together with open source communities in developing solutions, assist clients in modernization journeys, innovate how clients look at infrastructure and discuss sustainability and how to get your IT future proof? Would you like to understand how sustainability can be part of IT strategies and investment decisions, how to bring new technologies like smart contracts with blockchain and to look at application landscapes and discuss security, stability and scalability?
We are looking for a seller who can fill this role for the Netherlands, working with Dutch companies. The candidate must have experience in business development and sales, building network and relationships, understand IT, Linux and should be a real team-player. A Self-starter and an entrepreneur. Open to work with partners and integrators as well as consulting firms, RedHat and all open source ISV’s.
Business development will be done across the IT chain on both software as hardware.
Your Role and Responsibilities
The sales teams at IBM are world-renowned for being industry’s top experts in the profession. As a Seller at IBM, you will have the opportunity to use one of the most innovative and extensive portfolios of products and services to bring best in breed solutions to IBM’s clients. You work with world class organizations to help them understand how IBM solutions can contribute to their overall success and master business relationships to become a trusted advisor to your customers. Your role will combine approaching new clients and prospects (on your own or together with business partners), integrators and software vendors, with the responsibility for the complete sales cycles of sales transactions in your territory together with business partners. Collaboration with pre-sales architects or SME’s, business partners and a diverse set of IBM collegues in both software and hardware brands, IBM consulting, Redhat, system integrators and ISV’s. We will coach you to become an entrepreneur who can create teams and develop successful solutions and sell them to our clients. Using sales force, linkedIn sales navigator, collaboration tooling, events, marketing, client meeting, business partners and building network in start up/fintech communities. Success will be measured by the sales/revenue results in the IBM hardware solutions and building repeatable solutions which we can bring together with partner to our market.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 1-3 years of sales experience in IT or IT related field;

- fluent dutch speaker;
- presenter and proven expert in building relationships and opening doors.

IBM z-Systems business unit is a team that focuses on both hardware and software sales around the mainframe and linuxONE platforms in the dutch market. The business unit is closely connected to the Northern region and has skills in house on sales, pre-sales and business development. Clients are corporate and enterprise companies.
