Cryptoscape.ai is a new Berlin-based startup operating in the field of AI for Crypto and Web 3.0 investments. We offer a platform where beginner investors can discover and understand blockchain and crypto-related projects easily and in seconds. Our NLP-driven system structures large and complex information in a simple and compact format. We actively work towards creating transparency, providing valuable investment recommendations for our users, and driving mass adoption of these novel technologies. Your tasks will be:

• Further build and improve the backend of our platform. More specifically, to implement scalable and reusable data processing components as well as their corresponding interconnections and API endpoints.
• Manage and optimize data scraping, storage, and query pipelines with reference to external sources and our internal database.
• Taking a leading role in suggesting changes and adaptations for our server- and database-side tech stack, design, and structure.
• Generate and update a user-friendly documentation where relevant, especially for the API components served to the frontend and third parties having API access.
• Proactively coordinating with the rest of the development team regarding backlogs, current status, and future steps.

• You are based in Berlin and enjoy the startup culture.
• Experience as a software engineer or alike, ideally you’ve worked with Python and JavaScript. Experience with machine learning and NLP libraries such as Hugging Face and Pytorch is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with common backend frameworks such as Node.js and Django as well as best practices for scalability and reusability.
• Thorough ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with evolving project requirements and priorities. You have an analytical, pragmatic, and goal-oriented mindset.
• Proficient in English. Plus points if you are also fluent in German.
• Passion and experience with investments or contributions to anything regarding blockchain, Web 3.0, and cryptocurrencies are a plus.

• Your salary will be 2.000 – 3.000 €/month gross depending on your academic degree plus expert mentoring from the TU Berlin Centre for Entrepreneurship.
