Kryha is a Web3 Lab based in Amsterdam, and we are shaping the next generation of the internet to positively impact communities and industries. Our multidisciplinary team consists of 35 industry strategists, innovators, product designers, and software engineers specializing in strategizing, designing, and developing cutting-edge Web3 solutions to address some of the big questions of our generation. You will be challenged to dive into the world of NFTs, DeFi, Zero-Knowledge Proofs, and Gaming. About this role

We are looking for seasoned software engineers that have strong problem-solving and coding skills to strengthen our continuously growing team of skilled software engineers. Within this role, you will be a key player in building Web3 applications to solve real-world problems.

Aside from writing high-quality code, your day may involve brainstorming new features, systems, or solutions, as well as delivering on defined roadmaps. You will work on a wide range of complex problems and technologies that will challenge you as an individual and allow you to grow and contribute to the revolutionary Web3 space.

Our stack is constantly evolving (due to our protocol-agnostic approach) but based on the foundations of NodeJS, using TypeScript, React, and Express.js.

Responsibilities:

• Writing maintainable, clear, well-architected code, tests, and documentation
• Following design principles and best practices to ensure software performance and scalability
• Participating in code and design reviews to ensure high-quality and scalable software architecture
• Ensure good collaboration with engineers, POs, and designers (UX, UI, and Concept) to deliver compelling products and experiences

What we expect:

• Interested in working with cutting-edge technology
• Comfortable with the MERN stack (React, TypeScript, Express.js, MongoDB, and Node.js) and full understanding of the fundamentals and principles of Javascript/TypeScript
• Constantly voicing possible threats and opportunities
• Full understanding of the fundamentals and principles of JavaScript/TypeScript;
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Self-directed, investigative, and highly responsible
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to take a leading role in a project
• Ability to mentor and guide junior developers in their growth

Nice to haves:

• Experience working with blockchain technology
• Experience with Solidity Programming language
• Experience with Rust programming language
• Experience with DevOps

What’s next?

It’s important for us that you’re comfortable, and get all the clarity you need during the interview process. After applying, we aim to get back to you within 1-2 weeks. After we get back to you, our interview process takes between 2 to 3 weeks depending on everyone’s availability, but we are flexible if you have a different timeline in mind.

Please, note that this role is a full-time position in Amsterdam. It will require a relocation in case you live outside of The Netherlands.
