Building upon our close relationship with our users, we are embarking on a new frontier in the Blockchain/NFT space. Together with the most prolific companies within the NFT space we have developed a unique approach to this new exciting opportunity, bringing a sustainable approach towards growing the sports/NFT ecosystem. We are looking for someone to join this journey and help us with the formation of our new venture.

We’re adding an Analytics Engineer to our Product and Engineering team to help inform the future of our NFT marketplace with data by building a deep understanding of how our customers interact with our product. You will work on a modern data stack. Some of the technologies we leverage include BigQuery, dbt, Google Analytics, Airbyte, Superset.

Your role:

    • Model our customer journey using methods that maximise business impact and our ability to ask meaningful questions.
    • Build scalable and reliable data pipelines that collect, transform, load and curate data from systems and databases
    • Perform data analysis and investigations related to NFT marketplace use cases
    • Informing key stakeholders by providing analysis and insights that drive decision making, for example regarding NFT drop strategies
    • Support design and deployment of finance data lakes that will act as a central source of truth for the NFT function’s reporting and analysis needs

Your profile:

    • You have demonstrated experience working as a Analytics Engineer (or the equivalent in similar quantitative roles), producing high quality models and frameworks that optimise data utility, building scalable processes and enabling others to do the same
    • You have expertise writing performant SQL, data warehousing, working with BI tools and optimising data workflows
    • Strong understanding of e-commerce businesses and customer analytics
    • You use SQL or a programming language like Python or R to drive business insights as well as breaking down questions into analytical problems
    • You thrive collaborating with other engineering team members and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment, solving complex and nuanced problems
    • You engage both technical and non-technical audiences with clear and compelling communication
    • Bonus: Experience with NFTs and knowledge of blockchain technology
